I think another problem with MLS jerseys is that they are all made by Adidas, which of course means that ALL clubs are going to have the signature (and boring) three stripes down the shoulder. Talk about jerseys that don't give a club identity...all the teams look the same. Another issue is the hideous name and number font that MLS has used for years. It's time to update or go back to what they were using before, a clean, crisp design.

Haha thanks! There are definitely some big flubs here and there but so far I think I did alright. The biggest error is SJ though. But who would want a predictable season anyway? (I guess someone with a serious gambling problem)

Another lesson, Juan Agudelo needs to get mieutns somewhere fast. He looked rusty and tentative last night, much like Altidore before his transfer to the Netherlands. He maybe young, but so's Neymar. While they maybe on different levels, Agudelo is still too damn talented to be riding the bench in NY.I would much rather see Michael Bradley in there over Beckerman or Edu. Always liked him, never thought it was nepotism. With Dempsey excelling in that creativity role, I wonder if the other attacking mids take over for Edu. Possibly Danny Williams moves inside when Landon returns. Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Reading the game. You have be able to see the threats and stop it, for exmaple where the opposition will pass the ball, where they will make runs etc. This is even more important to a defender. Organise your defenders.

I like Quaker Oats...I am glad they have a sponsor...but the new jerseys are hideous...not keen on the blue stripe and collar combination…went out and bought some from last year….hope they bring back the iconic white stripe across the front....w/Chicago on it!!!

I like your Western top 3 predictions. I can see those in any order by October. I see Chivas and SJ farther down the list. I would say, Van. 4, Dallas or CO 5, then a mix down the line from there (Ok look, I'm a CO fan so that needs to be up front). I guess I find it hard to commit to a specific top 10 (such as you did above, so kudos to that). I tend to think in general terms more....top three any order, next three, next three, etc. Losts of changes for numerous teams over the break (esp. CO with their new coach and loss of Nyassi), so you may very well be right. I think it will be a good and less-than-predictable season for the West. For the East, I am less capable for predicting. I would put the Dynamo higher, and NY will probably do better this year (just a hunch), but I can't make a lot of arguments against. what you have there.

The west is definitely dominant for sure haha. Vancouver just looks so strong offensively to me. Colorado would be a lot higher if they were in the Eastern Conference. It's like I said in my other comment response, I'd love to see Colorado or any other team prove me wrong, just as long as it makes for a good season. Who do you think will win the west?

haha you're right, I may be a little generous with the Impact ranking but I feel like the 4 teams I have at the bottom of the East all have a rebuilding season ahead of them. So far, they have really put together solid teams but I think it's going to take them at least one season to make it click. But like I explained in the post: nobody can correctly predict the outcome. On that note, I'd love to have any of team prove me right or wrong, just as long as it makes for a good season.
